There are many manufactured types of composite decking. The decking consist of part wood and part plastic the percentages vary depending on the product. This is an upgrade as the decking material is more expensive and the framing of the dock must be increased for the composite material. This product is less maintenance than wood , but is not maintenance free. It also comes in a variety of patterns and colors.
